Officejet 6500n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Today the HP Scan software (from Microsoft Store) failed to find my officejet 6500n printer that has been configured on my network for years and is working fine with all other applications, e.g. windows office, adobe acrobat, chrome, etc. etc.

Users know that the HP Solutions Center software ceased to work in January because the user interface is based on Adobe Flash which has been discontinued.

I wanted to alert users that yesterday I download the HP Solutions Center software, ran the UNINSTALL, restarted my computer, and installed it again with the printer off.  (The printer is connected via RJ jack to a router).  After I turned on the printer, the HP Solutions Center is working fine!!!

I checked to see if Flash Player is installed on my system.  Yes.   And, it showed the SAME DATE as the new install of HP Solutions Center.  I cannot say for certain that is the source, but I did not install any other software that day.

It is working FINE!!!  Did anyone have the same experience?

Fingers crossed!  It is version Adobe Flash 10.0.32.18.
