HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Envy 7645 ALL in One

or HP OFFICEJET 5740 ALL in One

Windows just says windows 10 so unsure bit if that matters....

I have both printers wireless linked to my desktop. Both have worked fine for print and scan. Now both will no longer scan.

Only changes were I lost power the other night. I thought was a wifi issue as I use TP LINK extender and it may be a bit quirky with power outs. I tried disconnecting both PC and Printers from TPLInk and connect with router wirelessly but it will not connect. Thinking maybe issue with the connection but wifi was working on PC when was on TP.

Tried to solve tried linking with USB but when try to scan still says cannot link to computer. Tried solving by connecting both PC and printer to my verizon hotspot but still says cannot link to computer.

Opened scan on computer and made sure computer is enabled. It says it is. Tried uninstall and reinstall software. Still same.

Printing works fine.

I cannot figure out what went on and HP help is useless so hoping the community can help. I use scan constantly for my business and need to fix this asap. I am not a techie genius so please keep your answers simple please! Thanks!
