Product: HP Laserjet M604
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Having an issue with several HP Laser Jet M604 straight out of the box. When I go to install them and plug in the USB cable, and error pops up on the screen " Hardware ID Missing - Windows cannot identify teh device plugged into the Intel(R) USB 3.0 Root Hub. For assistance, contact the hardware manufacturer."
I have swapped cables, swapped between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, restarted he workstation, found several troubleshooting steps within device manager that did not work. I did try a different workstation and it did install, the issue seems to be the HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF, this workstation is the one that is getting the error.
