If you need the printer claim code and you don't have an LCD  printer control panel and are out of ink or paper, please follow the steps outlined here in conjunction with the video below.

 

In the above document, in the section marked for printers without a touch panel LCD, you are guided to use the printers embedded web server (EWS) to access the printer claim code by entering the printer IP address into a web browser.

 

The document instuctions ask for a network configuration page to be printed (this contains the printer IP address) which won't be possible if you are out of ink or paper.

 

Please follow the steps in the video below to find your printer IP address without having to print a network configuration page.
