HP Scanjet 200 Flatbed Scanner
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi , We have a HP Scanjet 200 scanner being used along with OpenText RightFax E-FAX Client Software. Whenever we try to send a FAX from this e-fax client it automaticlay opens HP Scanner Software and Scans the image for preview and i click finish ,  the E-FAX Software automaticaly takes the image url something like  C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\~RSA211.bmp . Meaning the preview image scanned or holded for E-FAX to be ready to send is a bitmap image .  Hence when i click the Send button on E-FAX , its taking too much time to convert from Big bitmap (bmp) file to FAX for E-FAX to send.

Is there a way that this default image to be "jpeg" instead of bmp on  C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\~RSA211.bmp ?

Is there any settings that we can do with the OS or HP Registry ? The normal settings on HP Scanner Software is just the options to choose a format to save after Scanning and not for the format for the preview itself.
