13.09.14 states “paper is jammed . . . Open the rear door and clear any jammed paper.”

This error occurred during the printer set up process. The one page sheet which printed automatically only came out partially. I pulled it out the rest of the way. The page is fully intact so no “paper bits” are causing this error.

To troubleshoot I have

- opened all the doors, front and back, including sliding the cartridges forward and looked closely with a flashlight for any paper or anything that appears “off”,
- restarted the printer several times,

- confirmed the paper tray looks okay (and behind it too) , and

- unsuccessfully tried  to restore to factory settings (message: it cannot while the jam  exists).

I see that others have experienced this problem but I cannot locate any suggestions/solutions offered. Please help.
