Product: LaserJet M479fdw
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan
My LaserJet printer always prints Duplex over AirPrint, even when "two-sided" is unchecked. But it behaves as expected when I set up the printer using the HP driver instead of AirPrint.
The problem is that on my new M1 Macbook Pro, I don't have the HP driver installed. And when I download the HP printer software, it doesn't install the driver -- it just tells me to print using AirPrint. Is there some other download I'm overlooking that will let me install the driver on an M1 Mac running El Capitan?
(Or is there a solution to my always-duplex-over-Airprint problem?)
