Dear HP Support Community,

 

A couple days ago I installed a new internet modem. Afterwards, I updated my printer settings and it connected to the new network just fine. However, the HP Smart App is not loading: when I launch the app, I only get a window with the rotating blue circle in the middle and then the window closes after a few minutes. I have already tried:

 

- Uninstalling and reinstalling the App

- Resetting my printer to its default settings and then reconnecting it.

 

The HP Smart App does load on my smartphone (Android OS) and I can see the printer is online. However, when I send a print job nothing happens - the printer makes some noise but then nothing is printed. Sometimes a blank sheet comes out of the printer. Interestingly, when using the printer touch panel, if I ask it to print a page containing its network info, it will print that page without issue.

 

There seems to be some communication issue between the HP Smart App and printer.
