laserjet m1522nf
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a EliteBook 820 G3 and a Laserjet M1522nf.

I installed from scratch Windows 7 64 bit on my Elitebook and now I'm trying to link the printer without success.

I downloaded the right driver (I hope) from your website. The name of the file is: M1522series-win7-full-solution-AM-EMEA1-v4.3.exe.

The printer is connecteted to the network and I see it on the network (ping ok). Moreover with an other existing PC (Sony VAIO) I print, scan and use the fax without problem.

I launch the application and the steps are the following:

  1. search for new version of driver/application --> ok, it doesn't found new version;
  2. start the installation of driver/software --> after few seconds I have themessage showed below

I tried also to install driver with the printer connected with a usb cable with the same effect (same error).

All the driver of my PC are ok (please note the screenshot below).

I tried also with an old copy of driver (with the same name) that I stored on my hdd. Probably is the same driver that I used when I installed driver and software on other PC (Sony VAIO). The result was the same with the same error.

Obviously, HP toolbox is not present on my PC (it is present and working on my Sony VAIO).

I'm going crazy for this.... 🙂

Please, can you help me?

Thanks in advanced

Regards

Giovanni Bagnoli
