Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Found a solution on the mifi 8000 router. Open your browser and type my.mifi/ and click on the wifi settings. Click the tab at the top for the applicable primary or guest network and switch the security from WPA2 to WPA/WPA2 Mixed Mode in the pulldown menu. This will likely work for other routers that are in WPA2 mode.
