I just bought my HP Envy 6455e All-In-One printer recently after my previous HP printer broke. Apparently, this printer automatically goes into sleep mode after a couple hours and requires me to manually turn it on every time I want to print something, since I generally only print a couple times a day. Is there any way to turn this setting off on the printer? It makes zero sense to have to manually turn on a brand new printer to print something in 2021. My previous HP printer that I bought in 2014 didn't require this. If there's no way to turn this setting off, is there any way to have it turn itself on when I want to print something? If there is no fix for this issue, I'll be forced to return this printer.

I called HP support and they're the ones that told me I have to manually turn it on every time, but I'm reading other posts that contradict that. I just don't want to have to cycle the power of my printer every single time I use it.

I have checked the settings on the HP Smart app and it says the auto-off setting should turn off if connected to a network. My printer is connected to my home WiFi network but it still turns off.
