I would to share my experience with the issue of some people meet with SMTP expedition of scan to mail function.

As the start of the issue, i've entered my mail account (**bleep** account), and i've configured my SMTP

smtp.office365.com
Port of sending : 587
Required SSL activation checked

My mail account login / password was 100% correct (i've resetted my credentiel especially for that) and the webserver of the HP said "Wrong Username / Password"

I've a double authentification activated for entering in the mail, and i'm remember than for some special case like this, we must generate with Outlook a special password for application than won't provide the original password,

Directly when i've put the application password in the login of the SMTP account, it work and i've directely received the mail confirmation of the printer.

For a Google Account, that's the same, you must unlock by the control panel of **bleep**, the control of application for allowing the account to send mail 🙂 That's the second tips in one.

I Hope you will solve that for customer with my help 😛

Have a great day !
