Operating System: Android 8.0 - 8.1 Oreo

Good morning I contact you because  I'm not able to print from my Samsung S7 Edge mobile phone using an otg cable on  HP Laserjet 1200 printer.

Some more details:

Devices :

Samsung S7 Edge operating system Android 8.0.0

Working OTG cable (already tested with usb mouse and pen drive)

HP Laserjet 1200 printer working with USB cable (product serial number CNC2548529, firmware data code 20010214)

What happen:

I can follow the installation instructions of the plug in that HP propose without problems, at the end of the process the plug in is active under the printing services of Android (the other pre existing are  disabled as suggested by procedures) the printer is recognized by the plug in, within in any document (pdf, word, ...) I try to print I select the hp printer via USB (following the instructions), it shows me the preview of the document then I select print but nothing happens, the printer light does not flash to inform me of the data transfer in progress (as always happens when I use my PC for example). The printer is not in the HP list of the printers that not support the printing using tje OTG cable, so I assume that it is able to work.

Gould you please help me in some way.
