HP Universal Printing
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As we are also hit by Microsofts latest update KB5005652, I am currently browsing through all our print servers and determine which drivers we will pre-install on all our clients.

As we use a lot of HP, we should be using the latest HP Universal Printing driver. But there is a small issue... for some printers we already have the latest driver (61.250.1.24832) but with two different names: "HP Universal Printing PCL 6" and "HP Universal Printing PCL 6 (v7.0.0)". So I add the driver packages with "pnputil -a *.inf" and then try to connect to a printer with the first naming, it will connect without issues. But if I try to connect to a printer with the second naming (...(v7.0.0)) it will still ask for administrator credentials.
If I check the locally availavle drivers, I see both.

Any idea on what is the issue here? Do we have to switch drivers on the server?
