Deskjet 1220C
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a Windows 10 Laptop and am having problem printing to A3 Deskjet 1220C via Print server Jetdirect 300x J3264A. (Old Model but Brand new.) Laptop connect to router via ethernet , the Jetdirect connected to router via ethernet and the printer connected to the Jetdirect with Parallel Cable. If the test button is pressed on the Jetdirect, the printer prints the configuration sheets. (Connection Ok.) I have load 1200 series printer driver on the laptop, when print command is sent, it just churns out blank page. I believe I need to upgrade the firmware for 300x and windows 10 driver for Deskjet 1220C if available or different way of utilising the Deskjet. There are Parallel port to USB cables available, but don't know if it will work for this printer. My existing printer HP8620 has gone faulty.(Printhead). Waiting for lockdown to be relaxed before I get a new one or printer. Would appreciate some guidance.
