Product: Color LaserJet Pro m252dw
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

This is a well-known problem: when the paper level in Tray 2 (the main tray) gets below a certain level, the printer claims it is out of paper. I've followed all of the steps outlined on HP's site, including trying to clean the rollers inside which seem just fine. One weird symptom is that I'm unable to print a cleaning page -- I get a paper jam error no matter what I do!

 

I'm not sure what is wrong, but I'm guess that I won't be able to fix this myself? And a repair would be costly?
