Configure the HP 107w printer wirelessly manually. This is a contribution to other users with the same problem

The printer is excellent, but the wireless configuration is difficult, the use of the WPS button on the router is critical, the indicators are difficult to interpret, better configure it by hand.
The printer is able to create its own wireless network (wifi direct), with its own web server (hp embedded web server) to configure and manage the printer. We will use these features to configure the printer manually.

The steps to take follow:
1. Learn about the printer's wifi direct and hp web server features
-Turn on the printer and put a few sheets of paper
-Wait a minute, then press the center button for 10 seconds and then release it. You have to be precise: use the second-timer hand on the clock. After ten seconds of pressing the printer prints the network configuration, after fifteen the status of the toner, and it is not the same thing.
On the two pages you will find the Printer Configuration and Network Configuration. At the bottom of the second page you will find information on wifi direct: my printer responds to the address 192.168.223.1, creates a wifi network named DIRECT-52-HP Laser 107w, with network key I3lJrcvLQw. Yours may have different data. The wifi network is ALWAYS created by the printer. The printer wifi light is ON ONLY if the printer is permanently connected to the home WIFI. But the printer wifi network is always present.
2. Configure the printer for home or office wifi
-Connect to the printer wifi. Select the wifi name and enter the wifi key of your printer: to me DIRECT-52-HP Laser 107w, with network key I3lJrcvLQw.
- Launch a browser, Firefox or Chrome is the same, and in the address bar put the address of your printer: to me 192.168.223.1
- The browser should tell you that the address is not reliable (the Internet cannot be reached through your printer), but tell the browser to go ahead and accept the security exception. You will see your printer management website.
-Click on login at the top right, and as id write admin all lowercase, empty password.
-Select the settings / network-settings drop-down menu and on the left in the settings tree scroll down to wifi / wifi. Select the wizard button, you will see the wifi networks available to you. Select the home one and then press the Next button. It will ask you to repeat your HOME network key twice. Do it, press the Next button and then Apply: you will have configured the printer for your WIFI. At this point your printer should connect to the home network, and the blue light with the network icon on the printer should turn solid.
Since you are, take the sleepmode from one minute to sixty minutes, because it is unpleasant to have to reconnect the wifi too often: go to setting / machine setting / powersave and set it to 60 minutes.
Close the browser, disconnect from the printer's wifi direct network and reconnect to your home wifi
3. Install the software on your computer
Go to the hp website and download the drivers for your operating system and install them. Basic Drivers are sufficient, Easy Print is useless.

When you install the drivers, say that you want to do the configuration via wifi, that the printer is connected to the wifi network, go ahead and print the test page.
4. Install the software on the phone
On the phone, install HP Smart from Google Play. The program will ask you to install the HP Print Service Plugin program as well. After installation, run HP Smart and with the printer connected to Wifi, click on the + symbol, add the printer (which the program will automatically find connected to the network) and you are ready to print images and documents from your mobile phone.
