Laserjet 3052
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Laserjet 3052 multi-function printer that prints but won't scan on Windows 10 64-bit. I installed HP ScanExt.msi and ran it, but the program can't find the scanner. The PC is a new Dell that originally worked with the 3052 in both modes, but due to issues, the Dell had to be reconfigured right back to its original format. Since then, I haven't found a way to get the MFP to scan. I have downloaded and installed the universal print driver and DOT4x64 file as suggested in HP's guidance, but still no luck. I have removed the power and USB connection, then restarted both PC and MFP [numerous times!], all to no avail.

Windows recognises the UPD in its printer control panel section, as well as specifically the 3052.

I have an HP M276 as well, which means the situation is not critical, but the 3052 is far more convenient for me, so I would really like to get it back in full working order.

Any assistance would be most appreciated.
