HP LaserJet 400 m401n
Microsoft Windows Server 2016

We have 70 printers managed through HP Web JetAdmin via SNMPv3. All of them work without issue except for our 6 HP m401n and m402n printers. In WJA I get a "Device Communication Error:  Error reading device settings. Empty values will be displayed" pop-up message.

WJA is 10.4 SR5 and the printer has the latest firmware.

I am  able to access the EWS via web browser.

I have tried resetting the SNMP settings and enabled all network protocols but it has had no effect.

I've deleted the printer from WJA inventory and re-discovered it. No change.

If I attempt to Update Credentials on that printer in WJA I get the message that "None of the selected devices require new credentials".

Attempts to modify settings of the printer in WJA result in the "Device Communication Error" warning.

This issue sounds exactly like the one in the link below but I have tried its solution. I issued a new self-generatred cert which did not work and then I used our our internal cert, which also did not work.
