M426fdw
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Our new M426fdw is a device on a gigabit wired local network connection. We have updated the to the latest firmware (version 20170728, Aug 9, 2017) and power-cycled.

There does not seem to be a way to disable energy saving features. While I appreciate the motive, there are valid reasons for customers to not want to use auto-off, auto-sleep features. Not allowing customers to make this decision is heavy-handed and inconveniencing us. We have looked both on the touch panel, documentation, online, and the web control panel without success.

Short of sending keep-awake pings at the printer, is there a solution for this?
