M479dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm using my brandnew MFP M479dw to scan documents and put them onto a Windows network share. This works fine in principle. I have set up to use the current date and time as filename.

However, after turning the printer off and on again, the date and time is reset to 2001-01-01 00:00. It doesn't matter if I use NTP or set the clock manually. Setting and testing works, but after a restart, the date/time is again reset to 2001-01-01.

I have found a similar topic in the forums (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/Date-time-reset-to-default-after-power-up/td-p/72384...)

Does someone else have this printer and could verify that keeping date and time after restart works in principle? I'd like to understand if this is a firmware topic and affects all printers out there? I guess most printer owners might not even notice because they don't use timestamps as filenames. I'd like to avoid having long service calls and having printers replaced just to find out that it affects every printer out there.
