macOS 10.15 Catalina

I just updated my Mac OS and am getting the same onerous messages about various HP files potentially damaging my system and my DJ 5940 is dead.  I've tried a few of the solutions posted in other threads to no avail.  

 

HP Easy Start and Easy Admin don't work.  HP apparently can't find the driver for this printer (??), even this page https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-5940-printer-series/445462 has been "compiling your results" in an effort to locate a driver for 30 minutes (more than the "up to three minutes" noted) with no results.  

 

I have used Easy Start to uninstall all HP software to no avail.  What to do??  thanks
