HP Recommended

This was the response from FMAudit to why hp lj printers meters are going backward in our FMaudit system.  Is this correct? I think that this is false but thought I would ask.

"After speaking with my tier two support tech about this issue, he pointed this out to me:

“This is something that HP devices will do. They only write meters to the motherboard every 10 prints. If the device is used for 5 prints and then the meter audit is done, it will show the 5 prints but if the device is then rebooted, it will reset and those 5 meters will no longer be part of the meter reading.

This is a device limitation due to how the HP devices save the meter values."

This is, unfortunately, an issue that cannot be correct due to the issue being with HP devices and not with the FMAudit software suite."
