problem with the MFP M426.

The web interface, or the telnet, have no way to set the time or anything related to it.

Support people have no idea what NTP is.

The only option is to set the current time by the keypad on the printer. Setting the time can only be found under the fax settings.

It is sad that the 15 year old printer it replaced had all those settings. This is what happens when you move support to a 3rd world country, not only you waste the time of your customers, important feedback is missed. They probably moved more than support to cut cost, and this is the lame productr we get for a business printer.

 

The is also no way to see the current firmware version from the web interface, only on the printer itself.
