HP Color LaserJet CP2025 Printer series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently replaced a toner cartridge (with an official HP cartridge,  not a clone), and now I am unable to print anything.   I am  using an ethernet network connection to the printer from a local switch device, and the printer is configured to have a static IP.   Windows can apparently see that the device is there, but says it is out of toner in the status.   If I use the HP Smart application, it reports that it could not not retrive any network information.

If I am required to uninstall the printer and reinstall it, must I do this every time I replace a cartridge?   I ask this because that was the solution that I found solved the issue the last time, but I  trust you can understand why I do not think it is an acceptable one.
