macOS 10.15 Catalina

Ever since upgrading my Mac OS software to Catalina 10:15:7 last the scanner function no longer works on my EasyJet Pro 8710 MPF

I have uninstalled and reinstalled latest versions of HP Smart, HP Easy Scan and HP Utility, as well as uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer - only to be at the exact same stage prior to all of these changes?

My printer/scanner is working fine via my works laptop, which has Windows os system, which tells me there is nothing wrong with the actual machine itself, and that the issue lies with the Mac upgrade to Catalina 10:15:7?

 

Has anybody else come across this problem and, if so, how/was it resolved?

Any help or guidance will be much appreciated
