Having lived for the best part of 10 years without a printer choosing to use the printer at work. Bought a Officejet4650 from Curry's on special offer a scanner, copier, fax and printer all in one; with the reassurance that it would work with Linux (it works with everything said the saleswoman) discovered it didn't do anything of the sort ... work with Linux. Gave up trying to get it work, lots of vagueness and non-assistance on the HP site. Went back to using the office printer. Along came Covid-19 and home working, thought about trying to get the printer to work. Wasted a whole day f***ing around with it. I suspect its a duff printer like the last HP printer I had that wouldn't do anything. Will put it on E-bay for a £5. Or more likely it will end up in landfill. Any pointers for a last try? Will never go to curry's for anything again and I'm done with HP.
