I have a Toshiba X10 120Gb portable SSD.(USB) which is correctly recognized and usable for read/write when connected to my Pavilion notebook. (Windows 10 Home - 64bit v21H2) Windows reports 'optimization unavailable' when attempting to use Windows' drive optimization tool to perform Trim maintenance on the drive. An internet search suggested that the intel rapid storage driver needed to be updated. This was done using the HP Support Assistant, but to no avail. I hasten to add that this isn't an HP system fault, but rather a call for suggestions from anyone who has experienced something similar, so I'd greatly appreciate suggestions from anybody with prior experience or knowledge. Thanks in anticipation.
