Product: HP PageWide Color MFP 586 - G1W40A

Hi, I am not very tech savvy with printers and need some word of advice. We have HP PageWide Color MFP 586 at the office that administrator password has been set and most probably lost. I want to know for this model what the options are for resetting the password but without loosing the current config. Maybe sort of a hidden menu settings or a port to bypass and plug in or something else?
