HP Color Laserjet 3600n
Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion

I replaced the fuser in an HP Color Laserjet 3600n yesterday with a new one. After the replacement, we started to print some jobs and the pages were coming out totally black on one side and a mixture of black and white on the other. I cleaned off the inside black screen that goes up against the toner cartridges and also cleaned the rollers on each toner cartridge of excess toner; howere, for the most part the pages kept coming out black although some of the pages showed some type print but were very dark grey. I did this a couple of times as I thought that if I sent paper through the printer that it would eventuall work its way through the issue, however, that didn't happen.

Is this a sign of a bad fuser?

Any advise on how to resolve this issue or additional troubleshooting?

Thanks in advance for your assistance,

Joseph
