HP Recommended

There are some of us (maybe not many, but SOME) who have 2 HP all-in-one printers/scanners.  I like the HP Scan software, but it will connect with only ONE of my scanners.  I would like one of the following options:

- Open the Scan software and select which scanner,

    or

- One shortcut to Scan from one of the scanners, a SECOND, SEPARATE, shortcut to scan from the other scanner.

I'll be happy with either solution.

AND as MANY others have reported, the HP Scan and HP Printer Assistant software periodically vanish from a computer.  Sometimes from only one of several computers, sometimes from all of them.  Finding and reinstalling this software is a nightmare - repeated uninstalls and reinstalls of the "full feature driver software" for each printer followed by hours of searching these and other forums and following links to suggested solutions which often just reinstall the same "full feature driver software" without accomplishing anything else.

Does HP assume that we are all so FED UP that we will NEVER BUY a second HP printer?
