Product: Hp 8610 office jet
Operating System: Android 8.0 Oreo and older

I was trying to print to my HP 8610 office jet, and after pressing print button it said "print spooler, printer blocked". I spent hour reading posts, re booted my phone, nothing helped. I could print to the printer over wifi, from my laptop.

 

I was unable to find the " print spooler" on my android phone to clear cache and data, as many posts said to do to fix the problem. It printed before, why not now.

Here is my solution that worked, power off the printer, and unplug it for about 3 minutes, like what happens in. A power outage, when the printer starts, my phone printed fine. i believe that the printer has the spooler for mobile phone, so it needs to be cleared on the printer. My wifes IPHONE 6 didn't print anymore either, i. Bet it is fixed now to. It used to print OK to the printer. I hope this helps someone else,
