HP OfficeJet Pro 8100
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I have tried everything to get my printer to print.  It did print the Printer Status report and one thing that caught my attention was under connectivity Settings number 15 - "Active Connection Type: None".  I have:

Disconnected both the power and the USB cables twice and reconnected - in order as suggested

Restarted both the computer and printer twice - in order as suggested

Deleted all print drivers and reinstalled the HP recommended driver for this printer from the HP site.

In looking at the print monitor I see - "Printing - Waiting for the printer to become available" - which never happens.

 

Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.
