Product: Officejet pro 8610

We have used our hotspot to print everything for the past 5 years as we live in the country and do not have access to Internet service. Everything worked fine until we upgraded to the iPhone 12. After that being able to connect the printer to our hotspot did not work regularly. Thankfully my son‘s iPhone SE worked just fine for a while, but about a month ago even that stopped working.

As of now there is no way for us to connect our printer to the Internet in order to update the software nor to connect to the instant ink settings.

I have tried connecting through the USB and it says “unknown device” and tells me to “disconnect memory device.”

I have searched for a solution and have found nobody else having this problem; But I can’t be the only one. Any help and suggestions welcome! So far I have already restored network defaults and also reset 802.1 X security and neither options help. Unplugging it has not helped either.
