Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since a few weeks, scan software can't connect to the printer/scanner.

Smart software messages 'Scan isn't available'.

Scan Doctor stalls on WIA Scan testing.

 

Uninstalled and re-installed software but still no scan; printer works just fine. Asked for forum assistance.

Checking the proposed solution, all services needed are running and automated (WIA, Remote Procedure Call, Shell Hardware Detection, RPC Endpoint Mapper, and DCOM Server Process Launcher) but still no scan possible.

Anyone has an idea what's wrong ??
