Hello,

 

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 connected via ethernet to my computer (Windows 10 Pro 64bit). Every time my printer performs an automated maintenance procedure (initiated by the printer, not by me), it starts to delay printing between print jobs. While it's not a long delay (1:30-2min) it is frustrating when you have a lot of documents to print. It'll stay like this until it does another automated printer maintenance procedure after a period of a few weeks. After that it will print normally, one print job after another with no delay. I have tried updating the drivers, reinstalling the drivers, HP doctor and various printer maintenance options within the HP website and the HP app on the computer. Nothing seems to solve it. It's been alternating this way for a couple months now and I have no idea what else I can do to fix it.
