This computer is USB connected to a HP C4599 printer. I am able to print phptos from file and emails from Gmail. I use Apache open office for text and spreadsheet work. Until recently i have been able to print from these programs. Now if i arrow over print it identifies the HPC4500 printer but it dosn't print when i left click. There is no item in the print queue.
If i go to file and click on Printer settings i get an error message "No default printer found please choose a printer and try again" Closing this box brings up another box that says "Name - HP photosmart A4500 series" "Status - Default printer; ready" ," Type - HP photosmart A4500 series" , " location- USB 001". If i OK this box i get another box that identifies the HP photosmart A4500 series . If i click print in this box nothing happens. I have updated the Open office to the lates version and updated the printer software to the latest version. ?????
