I have had problems with the preview of prints before they go off to the printer so decided yesterday to update the software.

I ended up removing all HP past software as once I had removed the printer for reinstallation it 'couldnt find the drivers' so thought an update of the software would be the easy fix. WRONG!!!

 

I have tried both the 64bit and 32bit versions of HP DesignJet and PageWide XL Windows Printer Driver installer but both versions (even in Administrator mode) start to install then just stop installing (with no warning). I have absolutely no idea what is causing this and have to revert back to an old software version I have on file which does install.

 

Any ideas anyone??
