Hi, guys!

 

I've actually solved the problem. After installing the HP Easy Start, it will tell you to:

Get the Software (which is the HP Smart app).

But do not click the "Get Software".

Click X (as in closed) instead.

Then you will get a pop up notification of "Setup Not Complete" with 3 available options (Continue / Skip to software download / closed)

Click "Skip to software download" > tick both "Essential software" and "Easy Scan" > Click "install".

 

Once the installation is done, don't forget to add (+) your printer from the "printers and scanners" in the System Preferences. You should be able to print and scan right after!

 

P/S: currently using macos big sur v11.4 (the latest os as of date)
