Hp Laserjet 4250

Hello,

I am having issues with our HP Laserjet 4250.

The Original Problem

Letters are printing blurry and the ink is too light.

The Attempted Fix/Spiral

I change the cartridge twice--this does not fix the issue

I have now tried to run a manual clean on the printer

Sadly, this has created a new issue.

First, during the clean, the printer was making banging sounds...it would bang then be quiet, then repeat

After running the manual clean--I get the error message Cleaning Page Error-Open Rear Bin

But there is nothing inside, so I bypass the error.

Not sure if this is related but I also got the error message Reinsert Duplex. That is also gone now too.

I have then restarted the printer

Now everytime anything printer it gets stuck in the rear door and an accordian like effect takes place and of course the letters are still blurry.

What can I do to fix the rear door issue? What can I do to fix the letter issue?

If you would not mind explaining every step as I am a layperson when it comes to printers.
