Product: C7280
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

I am able to scan using the HP Scan utility, but it always outputs a solid black A4 sheet (second screenshot) whether printing or saving. The Scan utility shows the image which has been scanned (screenshot below) so only the output is corrupted.

If I try to save over the image then I get the message "An error has occurred saving the file because it could not be written to.  Check the properties for the file to make sure it is not read-only."

The utility worked fine on previous OS but when upgrading to OS Sierra problem developed.
