Product: HP Officejet Pro 8625
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Who is a good detective that can help me? During random times of the day and night while my HP Officejet 8625 sits idle but is powered on, I get random pages printed containing random strings of text, usually 1-2 lines. I am getting a quarter inch pile of paper per week for the passed 9 months. I have updated the HP driver several times and this does not solve the problem. I subscribe to COX Communications tech support (my internet provider) and their top level technicians tell me they cannot fix this issue after spending several hours on it three different times with three different techs. One of them said they have seen this issue before and the solution was to buy a new printer. Running the HP diagnostic tool does not find anything wrong either. Anybody ever hear of this problem?
