HP Recommended

I cannot scan with HP smart app using wireless, it says scanner is not online. But I can print . I also can scan by using the windows scan function. I have uninstalled smart scan , and followed the trouble shooting steps, installed and ran HP Print and scan doctor  but the HP smart will not "find" the scanner but it will print wireless. I have manually input the HP address but it doesn't find the printer to scan. I have the HP Smart app on 2 other PC s and have he same problems with windows version of HP Smart. HP smart on both my Samsung s10e, and my iPad  all work fine, and I can scan and print. The issues seems to be with the windows version of HP Smart, and I have the latest  version. My printer is an office jet HP Office jet Pro 8710.
