HP Recommended

I have an HP Envy 4501 and have the same problem.  My mother in law also had the same problem.  It is something to do with an update.  I read on an outside site that there is  away to fix this issue but my printer doesnt have the same menu as the one they were discussing.  look on Reddit or Google.  Good luck.
