Product: Scanjet 7650
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Problem: red and yellow discolouration on some document scans.

With my old Scanjet 7650, most scans are excellent quality but occasionally some scans are partly discoloured on the sides with a red and yellow tint. I had this problem a few years ago when scanning on my XP pc and thought that i had seen a solution but now i cannot find anything in my notes or on the net about it.

Recently my scanner has been reborn on my W10  pc with the new 'HPscanExtended' software and it scans very well, both working with the feeder scans and doing 2 sided scans except that the red and yellow tint problem is still there, only on some scans. Any advice helping me resolve this problem will be much appreciated.
