HP LaserJet M209dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought an HP LaserJet M209dw printer. 

Setup was more or less okay, but it's taking long enough on the "registering your printer" step that I suspect something has gone wrong. I've tried restarting the setup, and it still catches at the same part. 

 

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

 

I want to note also that I'm working in an area with no internet connection. I'm using my phone to hotspot mobile data (full bars; good connection) for the setup. I'd ideally like to have the printer set up on an independent local network. Is this in any way possible?

Any help or insight you may be able to provide is much appreciated.
