Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

My printer was just out of warranty when it stopped feeding paper.  Cost of repair would be more than buying a new one so I investigated it myself.  I discovered a broken plastic cog on the wheel of a mini 'transmission' in the document feeder.  The machine is useless.  I loved the machine's function and quality.  Too bad.  It's like tossing out a new Mazda because the gas cap broke.  Very disappointing system of planned obsolescence.
