We use the HP ScanJet Pro 2000 s1 for 4 years now with a Windows 7 computer. The current workflow is that my collegue insert the papers that he want to scan, then he presses the scan button on front of the scanner to scan the documents. There is no GUI involved.
Yesterday we replaced the Windows 7 computer with a brand new HP ProDesk G5, Windows 10 2004. I installed the latest Full Driver package for the 2000 s1, configured HP scan but....the button isn't working.
- I removed and reinstalled the software to no avail
- I checked the WIA service and Still Image Acquisition Events, buth are running
- I even tried the Windows Scanner app
- I reconfigured the button settings in Scanner -> Manage -> Scan Option, but to no avail.
My colleague said that normally the green LED is on, but this is off as well.
Scanning manually (via HP Scan) works flawlessly, but this takes extra time, since they always scanned using the button.
What can I check?
