Hi,

lucky I survived several Windows 10 Updates, while my CLX still worked fine. But last weekend something happened and I'm not sure if this is a current stuck state.

Maybe someone faced this and could either confirm or may even provide some helpful links.

 

Using the scan function from a external program (eg. some PDF maintain program) with the network scanning by TWAIN driver does not work anymore. I do not name the program as I tried several programs (all TWAIN), from several Windows 10 workstations (one worked on Sunday but not anymore on Monday - after some updates by WIndows - cause?

 

The EasyDocCreator (V 2.02.53) works fine - I start the app, you could heare the printer wake up - on SCAN - It scans and works just fine (but EDC is not working for my flow)

Also in case I switch in the other program from TWAIN to WIA driver, the scan works fine.

 

So actually I could stop here and use WIA for good now. BUT...

 

Just for curiosity ( and as the TWAIN dialog offers more options than the WIA)

In case I start a SCAN with TWAIN, you could also hear the printer wake up, you could also here the scanner (device) moving, but just a second later the message (I think from TWAIN driver ) comes up -

I think it would be the "I/O error message" (but as I ran a German Win, it might not be correct translated).

Nethertheless while the error is displayed, the scanner run a full scann, you coul dhear it. But no data is received.

It also makes no diff if I use the TWain dialog or not.

 

Info:

Scanning from Printer to network (from display/panel) works ok.

 

So does anyone knows this issue?

I saw some posts here in the forum, but here the EDC does not even work. Mine is a little bit working let's say.

Any guess? Even a wild one like PATH to TWAIN?
