Product: Officejet 6958
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Operating System: Mac OS 10.15.6 Catalina

 

HP Office Jet 5938 and Laser Jet P1109W were both working fine wirelessly. Then I started getting the "HP may damage your computer" messages.

 

Read to delete all HP files and reinstall drivers. 

 

Print jobs work; but when I select "Scan to Computer" on the OfficeJet, I get "NO COMPUTER FOUND" ... and suggests I open HP Utility to ensure that "Enable Scan to Computer" is selected. 

 

Cannot find that in HP Smart, and no longer have HP Utility since updating the drivers. I can open Scan on desktop and successfully scan; but I liked the feature off just placing a document on the scanner and selecting "Scan to Computer."

 

How can I enable this on my Mac?
